Cardiff and Vale Coalition of Disabled People

The Cardiff and Vale Coalition of Disabled People is an organisation that works to help disabled people to have a voice, a choice and control of their own lives.

Our services include:

Advocacy Service - this can help to support disabled people by getting their voices heard on things that are important to them, advocacy means speaking out for someone and giving them information to help them to understand their rights.

Direct Payment Scheme- This helps disabled people by giving them more choice and control over who helps them with their personal care needs.

Training – This means we teach people to help them understand disability.

Youth Service- We work with young disabled people to help them to have the same rights as non disabled people. We meet for youth club every week and we have fun projects to look at things that are important to us. We also go on activities and help young disabled people to have a voice and make changes for the better.
